YSR

Have been listening to Kanda naal mudhal and the songs are really good except for the 'Spin that shit up' bit! I am not sure what Yuvan Shankar Raja's first movie was but I started liking his music after listening to Thulluvatho Elamai. I also like 7G, Arindhum Ariyamalum, Kadhal Kondein, Punnagai Poove and Nandha.
It is known that he has been/is heavily 'inspired'/'influenced' by other musicians, most notably his father Illayaraja. You only have to listen to the theme from 7G and the theme from Johny or the song 'theendi theendi' from Bala and Illayaaja's 'rhim jhim' to know what I am talking about. Recently I was listening to 'Oru Kallooriyin Kadhai' and there is this line in kadhal yenbadhu which sounds exactly like a line in vayadhe vaa vaa from Thulluvadho Elamai. What, he is being inspired by his own songs now? I like his music and I think he is talented enough to make original music. So, why? Why Yuvan?
